Divergent Deck Builders is a company that is making a difference in the construction industry by focusing on the “Neurodivergent Community.” The founder of Divergent Deck Builders, Michael Martin, has had a lifelong struggle with ADHD and severe Dyslexia. He understands the challenges that individuals with neurodivergent conditions face on a daily basis, and he is passionate about helping them thrive in a supportive and empowering work environment.

The construction industry is often seen as a male-dominated field, and many of the men working in this industry struggle with childhood trauma, ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. These conditions can make it difficult for individuals to thrive in a traditional work setting, but at Divergent Deck Builders, these men are given the opportunity to excel and grow.

The outdoor work environment provides therapeutic benefits, and the nature of the work allows individuals with ADHD and dyslexia to solve problems in a different manner.
